Summer Slowdown...
Mommy and me know how important it is to enjoy the last few weeks of summer before Mommy goes back to school with her new class. We decided to enjoy every minute of August by spending a lot of time outside playing with the neighborhoods kids, visiting the pool and having friends over for food and drinks. We also spent lots of time at the playground and park...and of course I still had fun with my friends at Vigdonia's.

Family Fun!
We've also been enjoying some really nice family time lately. Even though none of our family lives that close...everyone has been making the drive to visit with us. My Aunt Orly stayed with us for a weekend. We had so much fun with her and I cried when she left. My Betty Grams and Grand Dad came up from Tennessee to do some work on their house and took us out for dinner at Glory Days.....guess what I ate for dinner...macaroni and cheese! They also spoiled us with lots of presents, Kingsport carousel t-shirts, Tennessee t-shirts, a new build a bear named Bart and lots of bear outfits. Nana came over to join us for Rosh Hashonah dinner and brought lots of presents too...dresses, toys and some funky sneakers that will fit my feet soon! She also came to visit when Mommy and Daddy were sick with the stomach flu so she could help take care of me and Griffin. Saba and Safta came to visit us twice recently. They helped us with some house projects and cooked a delicious New Year's meal for us! I love having my family around me and I always feel sad when everybody leaves.

Happy Three Months to my Buddy!
 |
| Happy three months! |
On August 28th, Griffin celebrated his three months milestone. I helped Mommy put his onesie sticker on his belly and tried to make him laugh by tickling his feet but he was just acting too serious to smile like he did for his two month picture. Even though we couldn't get him to smile for his three month picture...my brother does love to smile. He is always smiling and cooing and laughing. Everyone says he is the happiest baby they've ever seen.

Back to School
It was very exciting for me when Mommy went back to school because now I get to bring my baby brother to daycare with me. Vigdonia loves having my baby brother around and so do my amigos...but nobody loves having him around more than me! Mommy thought she would cry when she left him for the first time like she did when I was a baby but she said it wasn't as hard leaving him because she knew I was with him. Now that Griffin comes with me, I have to be a big girl and carry my own backpack so that Mommy can carry Griffin's bag. I love my backpack...sometimes I refuse to take if off in the car and sometimes I wear it around the house just for fun.

Mommy's Sous Chef
To prepare for Mommy going back to work, I've been helping Mommy prepare and freeze meals. We love to make veggie and meat lasagna. I help lay the vegetables and noodles down in the pan. I also love spreading the cheese...especially because I usually eat more cheese than I spread! Mommy and Daddy have been really good about sticking to their weekly planned food menu and having food frozen and ready to go definitely means that Mommy and I get more playtime after school.
